Wario Land 4 Joins Nintendo Switch Online Library

Nintendo is bringing the much-loved Game Boy Advance classic, Wario Land 4, to the Nintendo Switch Online library on February 14. A new trailer has been released to celebrate this addition, and the game will be accessible at no additional cost to Nintendo Switch Online members who have the Expansion Pass.

The official synopsis teases, "The misguided Wario is back, and this time he's in search of riches. Ignoring all warning signs, Wario decides to enter a cursed pyramid rumored to house a bounty of gold and jewels. Our anti-hero soon learns that the curse is no joke, realizing that he'll be lucky to escape alive."

In this thrilling adventure, players can explore 20 expansive stages, collecting gold and treasure that can be used to buy bonus items after each stage. Additionally, players can take a break and enjoy the game's charming mini-games.

Upon its initial release in 2001, Wario Land 4 received high praise, scoring a 9/10 from IGN. The review highlighted the game's diverse design and increased challenge compared to typical side-scrolling games, emphasizing the need for players to strategize to reach specific areas within levels.

Wario Land 4 marks the 24th Game Boy Advance title to join the Nintendo Switch Online library, alongside other favorites such as Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
