Warframe's Techrot Encore Update: On-Lyne Goes Off-Lyne Soon
Warframe: 1999 is set to receive an exciting new update this March, aptly named Techrot Encore. This update promises to enhance the game's Y2K-infused action with a host of new content. One of the highlights is the introduction of the 60th Warframe, Temple, which adds a fresh dynamic to the roster. Alongside Temple, players can look forward to four new Protoframes, expanding their tactical options.
A unique twist in Techrot Encore is the addition of the Technocyte Coda to the Lich adversary system. Previously known as the boy band On-Lyne, these characters were prominent in the Alternate Reality Game (ARG) leading up to Warframe: 1999's release. Now, they've transformed into formidable foes, bringing a new level of challenge to the game.
To combat these new threats, players will have access to four new Scaldra weapons, offering diverse ways to engage in combat. Additionally, the update introduces changes to the Romance & Relationships system, a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin, and the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe.
Y2K is real! The turn-of-the-century aesthetic of Warframe: 1999 continues to captivate players, and the transformation of a boy band into cybernetic monstrosities adds a thrilling layer to the game's narrative.
Leading up to the March release, players can dive into more content starting February 6th with the return of the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast, new skins, and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering additional rewards.
