January 2025 Gacha Game Revenue: Genshin Impact Leads the Pack

The gacha game market continues to thrive, with January 2025 revenue figures revealing some interesting trends. Genshin Impact, boosted by a major update featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, saw a remarkable surge in revenue, doubling its December 2024 earnings to a staggering $99.4 million.

Trailing behind Genshin Impact, Pokemon TCG secured a strong second-place finish with $64 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" title, rounded out the top three, generating $55.2 million.

Honkai Star Rail experienced a decline in revenue, earning $50.8 million for the month. Zenless Zone Zero also saw a significant drop, with its January revenue halved to $26.3 million compared to December's $57.9 million.

It's important to note that these figures represent mobile platform revenue only. While some titles, such as those from miHoYo, also have PC versions, this data focuses solely on mobile earnings.
