Pokémon GO Unova Tour: Black and White Kyurem and Shiny Meloetta Debut!

Get ready, trainers! Black and White Kyurem, along with a Shiny Meloetta, are making their highly anticipated debut in the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova. This guide explains how to capture and fuse these legendary Pokémon.

Black and White Kyurem's Grand Entrance

Following last December's announcement, Niantic has revealed exciting details for the February 2025 Unova Tour. The event, taking place in New Taipei City, Taiwan, and Los Angeles, USA, from February 21st to 23rd, will feature the debut of Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, and the Shiny Meloetta.

Attendees can participate in five-star raids to catch Kyurem, the base form. Then, the fusion begins!

Fusion Requirements:

• Black Kyurem: 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy
• White Kyurem: 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy

Fusion Energy is earned by defeating Black or White Kyurem in raids. Reversion to the base Kyurem form is free! Shiny Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom will also have increased encounter rates during the event.

For those unable to attend the in-person events, a global event—Pokémon GO Tour: Unova—Global—will run from March 1st to 2nd, offering free access to all players.

Meloetta, the Melody Pokémon, Joins the Celebration

In-person event ticket holders can complete a Masterwork Research task to encounter the Shiny Meloetta. Don't worry about time constraints; the research doesn't expire!
