Ubisoft releases Animus Hub, a central location for all Assassin's Creed games
Ubisoft's new Animus Hub, a central control center for the Assassin's Creed franchise, promises streamlined access to the series' vast library. Launching alongside Assassin's Creed Shadows, the Hub acts as a central launchpad for games like Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla, Mirage, and the upcoming Hexe.
Mirroring the approach of franchises like Battlefield and Call of Duty, Animus Hub offers a unified experience. Players can seamlessly launch any title from within the Hub. Furthermore, Animus Hub will feature exclusive Anomalies – special missions within Assassin's Creed Shadows. Completing these missions rewards players with cosmetic items or in-game currency for acquiring new outfits and weaponry.
Beyond game launching, Animus Hub provides access to supplemental content. Players can delve into journals, notes, and other lore from the Assassin's Creed modern-day storyline, enriching their understanding of the overarching narrative and connections between games.
Assassin's Creed Shadows itself transports players to feudal Japan, immersing them in the political machinations and conflicts of the samurai era. The game is slated for release on March 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
