The latest teaser for Thunderbolts has ignited a fiery debate among MCU fans regarding the fate of Taskmaster, portrayed by Olga Kurylenko. In the original trailer from September 2024, Taskmaster was prominently featured standing between Ghost and U.S. Agent in the Watchtower scene. However, the new teaser released recently shows the same scene, but with Taskmaster conspicuously absent.

This omission, coupled with the absence of Kurylenko from the recently announced cast list for Avengers: Doomsday—which included other Thunderbolts characters—has led many fans to speculate that Taskmaster might not survive the film. The noticeable change in the scene has sparked numerous theories.
