April 9

⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the creators of Stellar Blade, and figure maker JND Studios have opened pre-orders for hyper-realistic 1/3 scale figures of characters EVE and Tachy on April 18. The Dual version, priced at $3,599, sold out in minutes, while limited stock remains for the individual EVE figure at $2,199. These stunning collectibles are slated for release in Q3 2026.

April 9

⚫︎ JND Studios, in collaboration with Shift-Up, will produce officially licensed, hyper-realistic figurines of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the eighth boss Tachy. The project was initially announced in July 2024, and on April 8, 2025, JND confirmed the characters to be featured. These collectibles are anticipated to be available later this year.

⚫︎ During the recent State of Play, Shift Up revealed that Stellar Blade will be coming to PC in June 2025. Additionally, the studio confirmed the release of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC in the same month, which includes a new boss battle, collectible dolls, stickers, and a new outfit for players to enjoy.

⚫︎ To start the new year, Shift Up Studio has gifted each employee a PlayStation 5 Pro console and a collective bonus of ¥1,000,000 (around $32,000). This generous gesture follows the successful 2023 launch of Stellar Blade on PS5, which received positive reviews, strong sales, and numerous nominations at The Game Awards.

December 17

⚫︎ In the PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards, Stellar Blade's Eve triumphed in the Best New Character category, outshining competitors like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Jane Harrow, Dragon Age: The Veilguard’s Emmrich Volkarin, and Rise of the Rōnin’s Ryoma Sakamoto. Other notable mentions included Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Strohl, Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s Wuk Lamat, and Helldivers 2’s General Brasch.

⚫︎ Starting December 17, 2024, Stellar Blade hosts a holiday event in Xion, transforming the city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall with festive decorations, including a vibrant Christmas tree. The event introduces new BGM tracks, "Dawn (Winter)" and "Take Me Away," to enhance the festive atmosphere. Players can also enjoy a holiday-themed mini-game, offering fun and rewards.

November 26

⚫︎ Shift Up has released a patch addressing issues that arose with the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. The update, which introduced Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, was well-received for its Easter eggs, such as Eve’s 2B outfits. However, it also caused unexpected crashes and missing costumes. The new hotfix improves Photo Mode stability and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits.

November 22

⚫︎ On November 11, 2024, Shift Up Studio's technical director Donki Lee announced two significant updates for Stellar Blade. The first is a free update (version 1.009.001) featuring four new outfits, one accessory, expanded lip-sync support, and a new photo mode. The second update is the launch of the first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, developed in collaboration with Directors Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro.

⚫︎ Despite high hopes from its fanbase, Stellar Blade did not make it to the Game of the Year finalists at The Game Awards.
