Squad Busters Ends Win Streaks, Offers Exclusive Emotes
Squad Busters is set to undergo a significant transformation with the upcoming removal of the Win Streaks feature. No longer will players be able to climb an endless ladder of consecutive victories for those extra, glittering rewards. This change, along with other updates, marks a pivotal moment for the game's community.
Why Is It Ending and When?
The decision to end Win Streaks stems from the pressure and annoyance it caused many players, rather than making them feel legendary. As of December 16th, this feature will be removed from Squad Busters. However, your highest streak will remain on your profile as a legacy achievement, serving as a reminder of your past conquests.
To ease the transition, Squad Busters is offering exclusive emotes to players who reach specific milestones before the cutoff date. These milestones are set at 0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins. If you're wondering about the Coins you've spent on streaks, unfortunately, they won't be refunded. The developers believe that Coins are essential for obtaining more babies from Reward Chests, and refunding them could disrupt the game's balance, particularly between free-to-play and paying players.
The community's reaction to this change is mixed. Some players welcome the move away from a pay-to-win model, while others are skeptical, especially about the adequacy of the farewell gift.
