Physical Version Includes Full Base Game on 64GB Cartridge

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds will feature a complete physical edition containing the full base game on a 64GB cartridge for Switch 2. SEGA confirmed through the game's official website that while the digital version launches holiday 2025, the physical copy arrives early 2026.

Breaking from Nintendo's recent trend of using download codes for physical releases, SEGA ensures players receive an actual game cartridge containing all content ready to play immediately. Switch owners can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for $10 with full progress transfer.

The Switch 2 edition will join the game's cross-platform matchmaking system. Unfortunately, Switch 2 won't receive Limited Run Games' Collector's Edition. Additional Switch 2 details will be shared by Nintendo later.
