Let Me Solo Her Names Toughest Bloodborne Boss
Even a fleeting glimpse of the towering, jar-headed figure of Elden Ring's most iconic guardian, Let Me Solo Her, is enough to strike awe into the heart of any Tarnished. Yet, even this legendary warrior has faced moments of defeat—not against Malenia, Blade of Miquella, the fearsome boss he’s slain thousands of times, but against one of FromSoftware’s most brutal creations: Bloodborne’s Orphan of Kos.
Let Me Solo Her first captured the attention of the Elden Ring community in April 2022, stepping into the Lands Between as a loincloth-clad, jar-wielding messiah dedicated to helping struggling players conquer Malenia, one of the game’s most challenging optional bosses. Since then, he claims to have spent over 1,200 hours in the game, facing Malenia countless times in acts of selfless aid. His unwavering dedication earned him not just the reverence of the community, but a rare honor—FromSoftware personally sent him a real-life sword in recognition of his impact.
In a recent video, he revealed that after finally acquiring a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, he took the plunge into Bloodborne for the first time. Despite his vast experience with FromSoftware’s games, the transition wasn’t smooth. Adjusting to the game’s 30 frames per second—half the speed of Elden Ring’s 60 fps—alongside its oppressive atmosphere, proved jarring. He even fell victim to the infamous clinic werewolf, a humbling rite of passage for all Bloodborne newcomers.
He then chronicled his full journey through Yharnam and its DLC, the Old Hunters. When he finally faced the Orphan of Kos, he found himself truly tested.
"Finally, I met the Orphan of Kos. In every Soulsborne DLC, there's always that final boss who feels overwhelmingly powerful," he explained. "We had Radahn in Elden Ring, Slave Knight Gael in Dark Souls 3, and Manus in Dark Souls 1. Orphan of Kos was that boss for Bloodborne."
He admitted this encounter took more attempts than any other boss in the game—so many that he resorted to farming Blood Vials and bullets in Chalice Dungeons off-stream just to keep up. "He's definitely the hardest boss in Bloodborne for me," he concluded (via GamesRadar+).
