How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO
Catch Shroodle in Pokémon GO: A Guide to the Fashion Week Debut
Pokémon GO trainers have a new challenge: catching Shroodle! This Poison-type Mouse Pokémon, introduced in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, arrives in Pokémon GO on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Unlike some recent additions, acquiring Shroodle isn't as simple as a wild encounter.
Shroodle's Debut and Shiny Status
Shroodle's debut coincides with the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. While available after the event concludes, a crucial detail: Shroodle will not be available in its Shiny form at launch. Expect its Shiny variant to appear in a future event, potentially a Poison-type or Team GO Rocket focused event.
How to Obtain Shroodle
To catch Shroodle, you'll need to hatch 12KM Eggs. This is currently the only method. Start collecting 12KM Eggs from 12 AM local time on January 15th onwards. While its hatch rate may be higher during the Fashion Week event, it will remain in the 12KM egg pool afterward.
Securing 12KM Eggs
Since 12KM Eggs are the key to obtaining Shroodle, here's a reminder on how to get them:
Defeat Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff) or Giovanni. This is the sole method for acquiring 12KM Eggs. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event presents a prime opportunity to stock up, as Team GO Rocket activity increases, making Rocket Radars more accessible. Remember you need available space in your inventory.
Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai
Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also debuts on January 15th. It's unavailable through wild spawns or eggs; evolution is the only path. You'll need 50 Shroodle Candy, so hatch multiple Shroodle or make one your buddy to gather enough candy.
Pokémon GO is available now.
