Saros Revealed at February 2025 State of Play

A 2026 Release

State of Play in February 2025 marked the debut of Saros, Housemarque's latest creation. Scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026, Saros builds upon the exhilarating gameplay of Returnal, its acclaimed predecessor. The game features Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.

Evolving the Returnal Formula

According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand alone as a distinct IP. Saros iterates on Returnal's narrative and mechanics, offering a fresh experience. Unlike Returnal's ever-shifting roguelike environments, Saros introduces persistent and evolving loadouts, including weapons and suits, enabling players to "Come Back Stronger" and overcome challenges.
