Renowned developer Rocksteady Studios is reportedly crafting a new single-player Batman game, according to gaming journalist Jason Schreier. While specifics remain elusive – a prequel, sequel to the Arkham series, or a completely new universe remains unconfirmed – rumors suggest a "Batman Beyond" title set in a futuristic Gotham City is in development. The ambitious plan? A full trilogy, slated for release on next-generation consoles.

The Arkham series was celebrated for its stunning graphics, and a futuristic Gotham could be Rocksteady's most visually impressive project yet. The "Batman Beyond" setting also cleverly addresses the challenge of replacing the voice of the late Kevin Conroy.
