PS5 owners will be able to play both Gran Turismo and Forza Horizon

The long-standing console wars and the exclusivity of major titles have fueled countless debates. A central point of contention: Forza (Xbox) versus Gran Turismo (PlayStation). Owning both consoles wasn't always feasible, but that's changing. PlayStation gamers can finally settle the score for themselves.

Forza Horizon 5 is arriving on PS5. The official announcement was made via social media, and a dedicated PlayStation Store page confirms its release. The wait won't be extensive; a Spring 2025 launch is anticipated, though a precise date remains unannounced.

Panic Button is spearheading the PS5 port development, with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games offering support. The PS5 version promises feature parity with other platforms and will participate in cross-platform play.

Furthermore, a free content update, "Horizon Realms," is in the works for all platforms. Horizon Festival participants will explore a curated selection of beloved locations from past "Evolving Worlds" updates, alongside some exciting unannounced additions.
