When Does Space-Time Smackdown Come Out in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

The Space-Time Smackdown expansion arrives in Pokémon TCG Pocket on January 30th at 1:00 AM Eastern Time. While initial announcements suggested January 29th, the official Pokémon website and X account confirm the 30th, likely to account for time zone differences.

How Many Booster Packs Are There?

Unlike Genetic Apex with its three booster packs (Charizard, Mewtwo, Pikachu), Space-Time Smackdown features two booster packs themed around Palkia and Dialga. As you might expect from these iconic Pokémon, the set heavily focuses on Generation IV (Diamond and Pearl), though cards from other generations will also appear.

All New Cards Revealed in Space-Time Smackdown

While a complete card list isn't yet available, here are some highlights:

Dialga ex	150 HP Metallic Turbo (2 Metal Energy): Take 2 Metal Energy from your Energy Zone and attach it to 1 of your Benched Pokémon. 30 damage. Heavy Impact (2 Metal, 2 Colorless Energy): 100 damage. 2 Retreat Cost
Palkia ex	150 HP Slash (1 Water Energy): 30 damage. Dimensional Storm (3 Water, 1 Colorless Energy): Discard 3 Water Energy from this Pokémon. This attack also does 20 damage to each of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. 150 damage.
Turtwig	80 HP Bite (1 Grass, 1 Colorless Energy): 30 damage. 2 Retreat Cost
Chimchar	60 HP Scratch (1 Fire Energy): 20 damage. 1 Retreat Cost
Piplup	60 HP Nap (1 Colorless Energy): Heal 20 damage from this Pokémon. 1 Retreat Cost
Pachirisu ex	Sparking Gadget (2 Electric Energy): If this Pokémon has a Pokémon Tool attached, this attack does 40 more damage. 40+ damage.
Leafeon	90 HP Leafy Cyclone
Honchkrow	100 HP Skill Dive
Cynthia (Supporter)	During this turn, attacks used by your Garchomp or Togekiss do +50 damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon.
Gible	60 HP Gnaw (1 Colorless Energy)
Cresselia	110 HP Moonlight Gain (2 Psychic Energy): Heal 20 damage from this Pokémon. 50 damage.

Note that while trading is enabled with the Space-Time Smackdown release, trading will be limited to Genetic Apex and Mythical Island cards only. Space-Time Smackdown cards will not be tradeable.
