Pokémon GO's Steely Resolve Event: Corviknight Arrives!

The highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—finally debuts in Pokémon GO on January 21st during the Steely Resolve event! This event satisfies the long-standing requests from players eager to add these Galar region Pokémon to their collections.

The arrival was first hinted at in December 2024's Dual Destiny Season loading screen, featuring Rookidee and Corviknight, sparking much speculation within the community. Now, the wait is over.

Steely Resolve Event Details (January 21st, 10 AM – January 26th, 8 PM Local Time):

This event packs a punch with a variety of activities:

• New Pokémon: Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight make their Pokémon GO debut.
• Dual Destiny Special Research: Unlock new rewards through this special research storyline.
• Enhanced Encounters: Increased spawn rates for Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, Carbink, and more (some with shiny possibilities). Magnetic Lure Modules will attract Onix, Beldum, and Rookidee.
• Shadow Pokémon Bonus: Use Charged TMs to remove Frustration from Shadow Pokémon.
• Raids: One-star, five-star (featuring Deoxys and Dialga), and Mega Raids (Mega Gallade and Mega Medicham) will be available.
• 2km Eggs: Hatch Shieldon, Carbink, Mareanie, and Rookidee (shiny possibilities).
• Special Attacks: Evolving specific Pokémon during the event grants them unique powerful moves (e.g., Corviknight learning Iron Head).
• Field Research Tasks: Complete these tasks for additional rewards.
• Paid Timed Research: A $5 option offering extra rewards.

GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny (January 21st – January 26th):

Alongside the Steely Resolve event, GO Battle Week: Dual Destiny offers:

• Increased Stardust Rewards: Earn 4x Stardust from battle wins.
• Increased Battle Sets: Play up to 20 sets per day (100 battles).
• Free Timed Research: Rewards include Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes.
• Varied Battle League Pokémon Stats: Pokémon encountered through GO Battle League will have a wider range of stats.
