Pokémon GO Adds Exclusive Costume Minccino, a Must-Have for Trainers

The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing with it returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: costumed Minccino and Cinccino.

Costume Minccino Release Date and Shiny Availability

The stylish, rhinestone-spectacled Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running January 10th-19th, 2025. While Costume Minccino is shiny-capable, Costume Cinccino is not.

This year's Fashion Week also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms in the wild and raids.

How to Catch Costume Minccino

Unlike previous years, obtaining Costume Minccino is limited to two methods:

One-Star Raids

Costume Minccino appears in One-Star Raids throughout the event. These raids are typically soloable, but you might need to check several Gyms as other costumed Pokémon (Shinx and Furfrou) also appear in these raids.

Paid Timed Research

Field Research Tasks

While event-themed Pokémon encounters are available through Field Research Tasks, Niantic's blog doesn't specify if Costume Minccino is among them.

Obtaining Costume Cinccino

To acquire Costume Cinccino, evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
