Niantic has exciting news for Pokemon GO enthusiasts: Shroodle and its evolved form, Grafaiai, are set to make their debut in the game during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. This event is scheduled to kick off on January 15, 2025, and promises a host of engaging activities and bonuses for players.
Shroodle, a unique Poison/Normal-type Pokemon from the recently released Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, boasts a distinctive appearance with its large head and eyes that dominate half of its body. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a primate-like creature reminiscent of a lemur, known for its large eyes and unique three-fingered hands. Both creatures have also appeared in episodes of Pokemon Horizons.
During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which runs from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, players can encounter Shroodle by hatching 12 km eggs. With 50 Shroodle Candy, these can be evolved into Grafaiai. The event will also see an increased presence of Team GO Rocket at PokeStops and in balloons, offering players the chance to help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration using a Charged TM. Additionally, snapping a photo during the event might lead to an encounter with Croagunk donning a fashionable outfit.
