Gotham Knights: A Potential Nintendo Switch 2 Title?

Recent speculation suggests that Gotham Knights could be heading to the Nintendo Switch 2. This intriguing possibility stems from a game developer's resume, as highlighted by YouTuber Doctre81 on January 5th, 2025.

The resume, belonging to a former QLOC employee (2018-2023), lists several titles including Mortal Kombat 11 and Tales of Vesperia. Crucially, it also mentions Gotham Knights, specifying development for two unreleased platforms. While one could potentially be the original Nintendo Switch (due to a since-removed ESRB rating), performance issues on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S might hinder a port. The second unreleased platform strongly hints at the upcoming Switch 2.

It's vital to remember that this is based on unconfirmed information. Neither Warner Bros. Games nor Nintendo have made official announcements.

Initially released in October 2022 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X, Gotham Knights received an ESRB rating for the original Nintendo Switch, fueling speculation of a release. This rating has since been removed from the ESRB website. While the original Switch port never materialized, the past ESRB rating, combined with the recent YouTube report, adds weight to the Switch 2 possibility.
