A History of Nintendo and LEGO Collaborations
Beyond the Game Boy and NES, Nintendo and LEGO have previously partnered on sets featuring iconic characters from Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and The Legend of Zelda.
For example, May 2024 saw the release of a 2,500-piece Legend of Zelda set, the "Great Deku Tree 2-in-1," featuring Princess Zelda and the Master Sword, priced at $299.99 USD.
Following closely in July 2024, a Super Mario World set depicting Mario riding Yoshi was released for $129.99 USD. This innovative set uses a crank mechanism to animate Yoshi's leg movement.
