Continuing directly from the dramatic end of Season 2, Season 3 delves into the critical decisions faced by Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) as he navigates "overwhelming despair." Meanwhile, the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) strategizes his next move, intensifying the stakes for the remaining participants. Each round of the deadly games leads to increasingly severe consequences, promising a season that will "push the limits of suspense and drama, keeping viewers glued to the action," according to Netflix.

"Gone is the rainbow-hued track of Season 2’s six-legged pentathlon; in its place, a vividly swirling flower-pattern floor ominously foreshadows the cutthroat finale to come," Netflix explained. The poster also teases the presence of Young-hee and her companion Cheol-su, whose sinister silhouettes were first hinted at in the post-credit scene of the previous season, suggesting even more brutal challenges ahead.
