Get ready to unleash your inner demon hunter! Netflix is bringing the electrifying world of Devil May Cry to life in an all-new anime series, and the first trailer is here to set your pulse racing. What makes this adaptation even more special is the posthumous appearance of the legendary Kevin Conroy.

Conroy, beloved for his iconic portrayal of Batman across numerous animated films and shows, lends his voice to the new character VP Baines. Hear his unforgettable voice in the trailer's opening moments.

PlayConroy's performance follows his acclaimed posthumous role in *Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part 3*, released in July 2024. This new appearance offers fans another opportunity to appreciate his incredible talent following his passing in November 2022 at the age of 66. Joining Conroy in the stellar cast are Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary, Hoon Lee as White Rabbit, Chris Coppola as Enzo, and Johnny Yong Bosch as the iconic Dante.

Netflix's official synopsis teases the high-stakes action: "Sinister forces are at play, threatening to tear open the portal between the human and demon realms. At the heart of this chaos is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter-for-hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds rests on his shoulders."

Adi Shankar, known for his work on films like Dredd and Killing Them Softly, serves as showrunner. He's also attached to an Assassin's Creed adaptation, though its future remains uncertain.

The animation will be handled by Studio Mir, a renowned South Korean studio behind acclaimed series like The Legend of Korra and X-Men '97. Prepare for the demonic showdown: Devil May Cry premieres on Netflix April 3, 2025.
