MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

The ESRB has given Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) an M for Mature rating, highlighting the inclusion of the Peep Demo Theater. This feature, originally from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's Subsistence and HD Collection, allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA, albeit in her underwear. Players can manipulate the camera freely and zoom in on any part of her body. To unlock this, players need to collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, a task that requires completing the game four times.

The Mature rating reflects the game's intense themes of violence and gore, as players take on the role of an elite soldier navigating enemy territory. The return of the Peep Demo Theater, often dubbed "Creepy mode," has stirred surprise among fans due to its explicit and controversial nature, which many did not anticipate would be included in the remake.

Faster Camouflage System

In a significant gameplay enhancement, MGS Delta introduces a quicker camouflage change system. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on Twitter (X) on March 28 demonstrated this new feature, allowing players to switch camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more in under three seconds. This is a marked improvement over the original Metal Gear Solid 3, where changing camouflage was a slow and cumbersome process that required navigating through multiple menus. This update promises to enhance the game's pacing and immersion, particularly during stealth sections.

As the release date of August 26, 2025, approaches, anticipation for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater grows. Set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game aims to blend faithful recreations with quality-of-life improvements for a better player experience.
