Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Spoiler-Light Overview

Embark on your journey in Metaphor: ReFantazio with the Protagonist and seven unique companions. While Gallica joins early, her combat role differs from the others. This guide outlines when each party member joins, avoiding major story spoilers. However, be warned: minor story details regarding recruitment may be revealed.

Party Member Join Dates:

Each party member unlocks a unique Archetype, usable by any party member once acquired. Early members may be initially AI-controlled before gaining full control.

• Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th during the Border Fort events. Awakens and becomes fully controllable on June 6th in the Nord Mines.

• Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but is combat-ready on June 6th after Strohl's awakening. Grius doesn't undergo the same awakening process as other party members.

• Hulkenberg (Knight): Interacts with the party from June 10th, becoming a full party member and awakening her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th.

• Heismay (Thief): Heismay's awakening and party recruitment occur on July 4th within Martira's main dungeon.

• Junah (Masked Dancer): Junah joins the party upon her awakening on August 13th.

• Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's recruitment is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon anytime between August 19th and September 4th during Viraga Island's free time adds her to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest, however, begins after this period.

• Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins during Saint's Day events on September 11th. He becomes usable in combat the following day (if chosen).
