While a sequel isn't currently in development, an anime adaptation is under consideration.

Metaphor: ReFantazio has achieved remarkable success, boasting a peak concurrent player count exceeding 85,961 – surpassing even Persona 5 Royal (35,474) and Persona 3 Reload (45,002).
