Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater retains the suggestive and sexual content present in the original Metal Gear Solid 3, including the controversial Peep Demo Theatre, as confirmed by an age rating.

While developer Konami has not officially verified the inclusion of this content, the U.S. classification board, the ESRB, has given the stealth action game a Mature 17+ rating. This rating is due to the game's realistic gunfire, cries of pain, bloody combat, and "suggestive/sexual content."

The ESRB's detailed report on the game highlights the realistic portrayal of violence and bloodshed, including scenes where characters are subjected to severe violence such as being beaten, electrocuted, shot in the eye, and shot while on fire.

Play"The game also features suggestive/sexual content: instances include a man groping a woman's breasts, close-up camera angles focusing on deep cleavage, a character briefly groping a man's crotch, and the Peep Demo Theatre. This feature allows players to view cutscenes of a female character's body from a first-person perspective."

The Peep Demo Theatre, an unlockable feature in the Subsistence and HD Collection versions of the original Metal Gear Solid 3, enables players to manipulate the camera around Eva during a specific cutscene where she is in her underwear. This feature becomes available after completing the game four times.

Konami has officially announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be released on August 28. Alongside this announcement, a new teaser trailer revealed that the beloved Snake vs. Monkey minigame will also return in this version.

In IGN's Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater preview, it was noted that the game appears more like a highly polished HD remaster than a comprehensive remake. The preview praised its visual appeal and nostalgic value but pointed out its close adherence to the original. IGN's review of the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater awarded it an impressive score of 9.6, reflecting its high quality and enduring appeal.
