Marvel Rivals players are in for a thrilling crossover as the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 swings into the game as a fresh new skin. PlayStation shared the exciting news on a post on X/Twitter, giving fans a sneak peek at how NetEase Games has creatively adapted this iconic video game outfit for their hero shooter.

The sleek Advanced Suit 2.0, which first debuted as an original design in Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, has since become a staple across all three entries in the series. Its distinctive feature, the striking white spider symbol, sets it apart, and its inclusion in Marvel Rivals marks an unexpected collaboration with Sony and its console-exclusive superhero game. Players can look forward to snagging this suit from the in-game store starting January 30, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's release on PC.

Not only does it connect to the immensely popular PlayStation series, but it will also be donned by a Spider-Man voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, the same actor who has lent his voice to Peter Parker in all three of Insomniac's Spider-Man games and Marvel Rivals. Players picking up this costume on January 30 will feel right at home as they swing into action.

NetEase's inclusion of Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 adds to the excitement surrounding the content released with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls last week. This inaugural season introduced new playable characters from the Fantastic Four, Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, with The Thing and Human Torch slated to join soon. Creative director Guangyun Chen has also committed to introducing at least one new hero every month and a half, promising a steady stream of new content.
