First, let's introduce the Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon creature card that encapsulates the essence of Aetherdrift's red-white color pairing. This card represents the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem, which was first introduced in Magic's 2v2-focused set, Battlebond, in 2018. With a power of 3, the Cloudspire Coordinator is not only adept at crewing vehicles but also comes with an activated ability that creates Pilot token creatures to crew them for you. This makes it an excellent addition if you're playing a red-white deck during an Aetherdrift draft.

Next up, we have the rare enchantment, Count on Luck. This 3-mana card with an all-red-pip casting cost offers a straightforward yet powerful effect: at the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and can play it during that turn. Known as "impulse draw," this mechanic provides a consistent stream of extra cards for your mono-red deck, as long as you can use them immediately. It's a "use it or lose it" scenario that can really ramp up your gameplay.

We're also excited to showcase Count on Luck in its extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. The extended-art version offers a wider look by removing the card frame on the sides, while the First-Place Foils introduce a new shiny golden treatment exclusive to Aetherdrift. These foils are available only through a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with every box of Aetherdrift, and they will be applied to all the rares in the set, along with 10 full-art lands.

Mark your calendars, as Aetherdrift will hit the streets, both in paper and online, on February 14, with prereleases starting on February 7. For a deeper dive into the set's mechanics, check out the official resources. Get ready to race through the multiverse with Aetherdrift!
