Lies of P's captivating world expands with a prequel DLC: Overture.

Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025 presentation, Lies of P: Overture will launch Summer 2025 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. A gameplay trailer showcasing new environments, bosses, and a mysterious guide is available below.

Building upon the critically acclaimed, Bloodborne-esque action RPG, Lies of P (IGN review: 8/10), Overture delves into the origins of the Puppet Frenzy.

Overture serves as a dramatic prequel, transporting players to Krat, a city in its Belle Époque twilight, moments before the devastating Puppet Frenzy. Players assume the role of Geppetto's puppet, guided by a Legendary Stalker, unraveling untold stories and chilling secrets.

As Geppetto's creation, you'll encounter a mysterious artifact, catapulting you back to Krat's final days of splendor. Your mission: navigate the impending tragedy, exploring the past and uncovering its dark secrets, shaped by surprise, loss, and revenge. Round8 Studio's Jiwon Choi, game director, stated, "We knew that the end of Lies of P was just the beginning... Overture allows us to fully explore the past and present."

Neowiz, Lies of P's publisher, previously hinted at the first DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. Lies of P achieved remarkable success, selling one million copies within a month of its September 18, 2023, launch across multiple platforms.
