Legendary Pokémon Joins Might and Mastery Event in Pokémon GO!

Get ready for some serious martial arts action in Pokémon GO with the upcoming Might and Mastery event, kicking off on March 4th, 2025, and running through June 3rd, 2025. This event is packed with excitement, featuring a new Pokémon and the legendary debut you won’t want to miss.

Who’s the Might and Mastery in Pokémon GO?

Enter Kubfu, the little Fighting-type powerhouse, ready to train by your side. During the event, you'll have the chance to evolve it into one of its two formidable forms: Single Strike Style Urshifu or Rapid Strike Style Urshifu. But that's not all—Might and Mastery also introduces Dynamax battles, so get ready to see some Pokémon grow to kaiju-sized proportions. Imagine witnessing Kubfu flexing its muscles in an absolutely massive way!

The real adventure begins with the Might and Mastery Special Research, which you can claim starting March 5th at 10:00 a.m. and will be available until June 3rd at 9:59 a.m. This research will unlock in stages throughout the season, so make sure to keep an eye on your research tab to catch all the good stuff.

Mark your calendars for the Powerful Potential event, running from March 5th to March 10th. This is when Kubfu officially steps into the Pokémon GO arena, making its grand debut. Note that Kubfu cannot be traded, sent to the professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

Participate in Epic Battles

From March 8th at 6:00 a.m. to March 9th at 9:00 p.m., Max Battles will take over, and Power Spots will refresh more frequently. One-Star Max Battles will feature Dynamax Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. For those ready for a bigger challenge, Six-Star Max Battles will showcase Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. You can also challenge Gothita, Solosis, and Sinistea in One-Star Raids, while Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Sableye appear in Three-Star Raids.

If you're a Pokémon GO player, the Might and Mastery event is definitely worth checking out. And if you haven’t yet joined the fun, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
