The "Might and Mastery" event in Pokémon GO introduces the Wushu Pokémon, Kubfu. Highly anticipated since its debut in the Pokémon Sword and Shield DLC, Kubfu is finally here! To catch it, complete the Special Research tasks.

Find the "Might and Mastery" Special Research in your Special Research tab. Here's what you'll need to do:

Upon completion, Kubfu will appear, along with 891 XP. But hurry! This Special Research ends June 3, 2025, at 9:59 AM local time.

Can You Catch More Than One Kubfu in Pokémon GO?

Want more than one Kubfu? The paid "Fuzzy Fighter" Special Research pass (US$8) offers more tasks and a chance to catch a second Kubfu, plus these rewards:
