The protagonist, Hou, the son of the village chief, celebrates his first successful hunt, only for his village to be attacked shortly after. This tragedy sets Hou on a journey alongside Hisui, Shirin, and Shapur to restore peace. Hisui is Hou’s enigmatic servant with suppressed emotions, Shirin is his childhood friend driven by a strong sense of justice, and Shapur is a former general now serving as a butler.

While the announcement of Suikoden STAR LEAP has stirred excitement, some fans are uncertain about this new direction. The community has long awaited a true continuation of the series, and instead, they receive a mobile gacha game.
