Jurassic World: Rebirth Adds Lost Crichton Book Scene

Screenwriter David Koepp has confirmed that Jurassic World Rebirth incorporates a never-before-filmed sequence from Michael Crichton's original Jurassic Park novel. Koepp, who penned the 1993 classic's screenplay, returned to write this summer's installment after revisiting Crichton's source material for inspiration—since no original novel exists for this sequel.
A Long-Lost Scene Finds Its Moment
In an interview with Variety, Koepp explained that he revisited Crichton’s books to recapture the franchise’s essence. "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for," he revealed. "Now, we finally get to use it."
Though Koepp remained tight-lipped about which specific scene made the cut, speculation among fans has already narrowed down the possibilities.
