Solving the Fountain of Confession Puzzle in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Following the Sacred Wounds puzzle and escape from the Vatican's underground, Indy uses his scroll to locate the Fountain of Confession. Remember to photograph all clues for Adventure Points!

Exit Antonio's office (like the start of the Sacred Wounds mission) and use your journal's map to find the courtyard stairs leading to the puzzle.

First, retrieve the fountain key from the chest near the construction area. This unlocks the storage room.

Inside, use your whip to rappel to the roof, then swing to the window overlooking the fountain. You'll see two dragon statues. Swing to the second statue and grab its claw to activate a lever.

Use the lever to rotate the statue to face the opposite dragon. Repeat on the other statue, noting its missing claw.

The claw is on the scaffolding below. Rappelling down triggers a cutscene with Gina Lombardi, who then assists. Retrieve the claw.

Return to the statue, attach the claw, and rotate both dragons to face each other. The fountain statue will rotate, revealing the next step.

Use your whip to pull the fountain statue, revealing a gate blocked by three statues. A lever appears; Indy and Gina activate it, revealing the first wall puzzle (a baptism scene).

For the first puzzle, position the male statue under the water bucket, activate the water mechanism, then push the statue to "baptize" the smaller statue. The left gate statue moves.

Reactivate the lever for the second puzzle (moving stone layers to reposition an angel). Use the whip-controlled handles to guide the angel to the right. The right gate statue moves.

Finally, push the remaining central statue through the gate to open a spiral stairway.

Congratulations! You've solved the Fountain of Confession puzzle.
