Honkai: Star Rail Leak Unveils Anaxa

Honkai: Star Rail Leaks Reveal Anaxa's Versatile Gameplay

Recent leaks from Honkai: Star Rail offer a sneak peek at Anaxa, a highly anticipated new character from the Amphoreus region. These leaks suggest Anaxa will bring a unique blend of utility to the game, impacting enemy weaknesses and disrupting enemy turns.

Anaxa is one of several "Flame-Chaser" characters from Honkai Impact 3rd making their debut in Star Rail's fourth world, Amphoreus. HoYoverse has already unveiled Herta and Aglaea (Version 3.0) and Tribbie and Mydei (Version 3.1), but Anaxa's arrival remains unconfirmed. Amphoreus will also feature Star Rail versions of other popular Honkai Impact 3rd characters, including Phainon (Kevin Kaslana) and Cyrene (Elysia).

Anaxa's Kit: A Blend of Utility and Offense

Leaks from leaker Hellgirl detail Anaxa's potential abilities. His kit appears to offer significant utility, including applying weaknesses—similar to Silver Wolf—and delaying enemy actions. Furthermore, Anaxa is expected to contribute offensively, potentially by reducing enemy defense and boosting damage for himself or allies.

This combination draws parallels to existing Star Rail characters. His weakness application mirrors Silver Wolf's flexibility, his DEF reduction resembles Pela's utility, and his action delay is a common mechanic seen in characters like Silver Wolf and Welt.

A Potential Meta-Shifting Support?

Anaxa's diverse abilities position him as a potentially powerful support character. While the current meta features strong supports like Ruan Mei and Robin, as well as newer additions like Sunday and Fugue, Anaxa's leaked kit suggests he could significantly alter the game's strategic landscape. His arrival, coupled with the damage-oriented support Tribbie (Version 3.1), promises exciting changes to team compositions and overall gameplay. However, an official release date for Anaxa remains unannounced.
