Hogwarts Legacy will support mods and it will happen sooner than you think
WB Games has a thrilling announcement for all Harry Potter enthusiasts: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will embrace the world of mods, exclusively for PC players. This exciting feature will be part of a significant patch, available for download on both Steam and the Epic Games Store (EGS).
The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a comprehensive toolkit that empowers fans to craft new content, including dungeons, quests, and character modifications. The renowned platform, CurseForge, will manage and distribute these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will feature a mod manager, simplifying the process for players to discover and install mods that catch their eye.
On launch day, several pre-approved mods will be ready for players, with the Dungeon of Doom standing out. This new dungeon presents a challenge, pitting gamers against numerous foes and enticing them with hidden secrets to uncover. However, there's a small caveat: to access these mods, players will need to link their game accounts to a WB Games account.
The patch doesn't stop at mods; it also enhances character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have provided a glimpse of these mods in the trailer, showcasing the potential for personalization and creativity within the game.
In other news, the sequel to this magical adventure is already in the works. Warner Bros. Discovery has highlighted it as a top priority for the coming years, promising more enchanting experiences for fans of the wizarding world.
