High-Speed Endless Runner Game Hyde Run Is Now Out Globally!

If you're a fan of Japanese music, you're no stranger to HYDE, the iconic artist who has graced stages like Madison Square Garden and sold over 40 million records. Now, he's the star of a brand-new endless runner game called Hyde Run, which has just launched globally. Initially released in Japan, this game is now accessible to fans worldwide, courtesy of its developer and publisher, Phoenixx. It offers a unique way for global fans to engage with HYDE’s illustrious music career through a game packed with references and easter eggs.

Move, Jump or Slide in Hyde Run

In Hyde Run, you'll take on the role of HYDE, navigating a thrilling high-speed chase through a concert stage and a futuristic Tokyo. The gameplay involves parkour, dodging obstacles, wall-running past vibrant billboards, and collecting musical notes. What sets Hyde Run apart from typical endless runners is its electrifying atmosphere, infused with the energy of a guitar solo and nods to HYDE's fanbase.

As you dash through the city, you'll encounter various power-ups such as magnets to attract more notes and barriers to shield you from damage. Before each run, you can equip items like Note Gain for increased note collection or a Barrier to avoid tripping over obstacles. Additionally, collecting crystals allows you to unlock exclusive outfits and room items from HYDE’s career, along with voice clips from the rockstar himself through the Microphone Stand feature.

There’s More Stuff in the Game to Do

Beyond the main gameplay, Hyde Run lets you personalize HYDE's room with memorabilia spanning his 20-year career. From old tour gear to more obscure references, you'll uncover hidden items that unlock special messages and voice notes from HYDE. Until June 10th, 2025, there's also limited-time content available, including the THE LAST ROCKSTARS Costume Set, which features HYDE's iconic look from the music video, complete with matching ROCK Furniture like leopard prints, vintage trunks, and stage spotlights. For a more relaxed vibe, the Bat Jinbei Costume Set offers a summer-festival-inspired look, complemented by a traditional Japanese-style furniture set with bamboo, bonboris, and a wind chime shaped like HYDE’s Edyh character.
