The Hidden Ones is a martial arts-themed new release from Tencent\'s Morefun Studios, coming 2025
Morefun Studios' highly anticipated 3D action brawler, previously known as Hitori no Shita: The Outcast, is back! Now titled The Hidden Ones, this game promises a thrilling experience with its 3D brawling mechanics, parkour elements, and more. A pre-alpha test is scheduled for January, with a full release slated for 2025.
Set in contemporary China, the game follows Zhang Chulan, a young martial artist who discovers his grandfather's fighting techniques are highly sought after in the martial arts community. This revelation thrusts him into a world of intrigue and danger.
Recent gameplay footage showcases impressive combat, featuring both Zhang Chulan and the secondary protagonist, Wang Ye. The trailer highlights dynamic parkour sequences, including leaps between buildings while evading attacks, alongside classic 3D martial arts combat, energy blasts, and intense brawls.
The Hidden Ones' darker, grittier aesthetic sets it apart from other 3D ARPGs. While not photorealistic, its grounded visual style is striking. The game's success, however, hinges on its ability to attract players unfamiliar with the original webcomic.
