Hearthstone's Year of the Raptor: A 2025 Roadmap of New Content and Features

Get ready for a thrilling year in Hearthstone! 2025 promises a whirlwind of surprises, innovative gameplay, and exciting new features. The familiar trifecta of expansions, Mini-Sets, and Battlegrounds seasons are all on the horizon. The success of the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set has clearly energized Blizzard, leading to an ambitious roadmap for the year ahead.

What's New in the Year of the Raptor?

A major highlight is the long-awaited Arena revamp. In development since last year, this update promises a fresh experience for both veteran and new Arena players.

Cosmetics are also receiving a significant boost. Expect new Mythic skins and Signature cards, along with a brand-new addition: Pets! These adorable companions will be integrated into a new cosmetic acquisition system, though the specifics remain under wraps for now.

The Year of the Raptor officially begins with the "Into the Emerald Dream" expansion. Card reveals begin next week, but the in-game celebration has already started. Complete the Event Track to earn rewards including The Great Dark Beyond Epic cards, packs from the new expansion, and a Raptor Herald card.

A dynamic, evolving game board will launch alongside the expansion. This Year of the Raptor board will remain a staple throughout the year, receiving visual and audio updates with each subsequent expansion.
