Purchased Energy Crystals are automatically added to the container, so don't be alarmed if they vanish post-purchase. To recharge an item, simply place it in the yellow bucket next to the container, and it will regain its health. This feature is invaluable for maintaining your gear, ensuring you're ready to face the horrors that await in the next level.

However, as you progress, you'll find that the intensity of some levels can cause your items to wear down quickly. While you can recharge them at your truck using Energy Crystals, you won't always be close to it. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes indispensable for managing your items' energy on the go.

How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.

The Recharge Drone, like other items and upgrades, can be found at the Service Station, which you reach after successfully completing a level. This is your chance to gear up for the challenges ahead, provided you have the funds.

Due to the random spawning of items at the Service Station, it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone becomes available. Once it does, it will cost you between $4-5K. This compact cube will occupy one of your inventory slots, so choose a slot (1, 2, or 3) to assign it after purchase.

You'll notice your item's battery bar diminishing when it starts to deteriorate. To recharge, select the drone, activate it by pressing 'E', and then attach your depleted item. Let the Recharge Drone work its magic! When the drone's battery runs out, you can recharge it back at your truck using Energy Crystals in the container.
