How to Unlock 'Under the Straw Hat' in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Before diving into "Under the Straw Hat," you must initiate the side quest "In Vino Veritas." Upon arriving in Kuttenberg, locate Casper Rudolf on the west side of the city, where he's offering free wine samples. Casper seeks information to enhance his wine, and you can assist him in two ways:

• Direct Approach: Head to Havel and impress him with your wine knowledge. Ensure you're wearing fancy clothes and are clean when you speak to him. Choose "Germany," "Steinberger," and "It’s missing ginger" as your responses to extract the necessary information. Return to Casper with this intel.
• Alternative Approach: Retrieve Casper's book from Adleta and study it to gain deeper wine knowledge before confronting Havel.

Access the Vineyard

Next, Casper requires you to infiltrate a vineyard north of Kuttenberg to gather information about the incense Havel mentioned. Avoid trespassing by sticking to the main road and speaking with the recruiter, who will introduce you to the "Under the Straw Hat" quest. Continue along the road, pass the guard at the estate entrance, and find Jerome on a bench. Inform Jerome that you've been instructed to report there, and he'll brief you on working at the vineyard.

Working at the Vineyard

Your job at the vineyard begins the following day. After a night's rest, return to the vineyard. You can either perform your assigned tasks, such as moving sacks and picking Thistle, to earn payment, or head straight to the wine cellar for the secret incense.

The wine cellar is located in the main building, downstairs from where you met Jerome. Accessing it requires either a lockpick or stealing Jerome's keys. Inside the cellar, find a chest and collect all the Sulphur Wicks to complete the main objective. For an increased reward, consider picking up five seedlings located across the building from the entrance. Remember, these areas are restricted, so be swift to avoid punishment.

If you choose to work, report to Jerome at the end of the day for your pay. Alternatively, return to Casper with the Sulphur Wicks and, if collected, the seedlings.

By following these steps, you'll successfully complete both "Under the Straw Hat" and "In Vino Veritas" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. You can then explore other exciting side quests like "Master Schindel’s Toys."
