Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) continues to be on track for a Fall 2025 launch. During the Q3 Earnings Conference Call on February 7, 2025, Take-Two Interactive provided updates on their current status and upcoming releases.

CEO Strauss Zelnick expressed confidence in the Fall 2025 release, yet acknowledged the possibility of delays, noting, "Look, there's always a risk of slippage and I think as soon as you say words like absolutely, you jinx things." Despite this, he remains optimistic, stating, "We feel really good about it." Zelnick refrained from sharing specifics about GTA 6's development but emphasized Rockstar's commitment to perfection, saying, "We know that Rockstar seeks perfection. I never claim success before it occurs. I'm fond of saying arrogance is the enemy of continued success, so we're all running scared and looking over our shoulders and we know that the competition is not asleep. Our whole organization is super excited."

Regarding the potential success of these titles, Zelnick expressed strong optimism, stating, "We are exceedingly optimistic about the commercial potential of our titles and believe that they will have a transformative effect on our business – and our industry – over the long term." The company also projects record levels of Net Bookings for Fiscal 2026 and 2027.

GTA 5 Actor Steven Ogg Clarifies His Stance on Trevor

There has been speculation among fans that Steven Ogg, the actor who played Trevor in GTA 5, dislikes being associated with the character. In an interview on the Inside You podcast, Ogg set the record straight, stating that he does not hate Trevor. He explained, "When people call you by your character name, it's kinda weird because I kinda get it, but I'm also like meh." Ogg praised Trevor as "a great character" and mentioned his ongoing friendship with Shawn Fonteno (Franklin's actor) and Ned Luke (Michael's actor), noting they recently attended a Comic Con together.

In a past interview with Screen Rant, Ogg suggested a cameo for Trevor in GTA 6, where he could be killed off early in the game. However, he confirmed he has not recorded any lines for GTA 6 and has no information on whether Trevor will return.

GTA 6 is slated for a Fall 2025 release, though no specific date has been announced. Stay updated with the latest news on our Grand Theft Auto 6 page.
