The God of War franchise has long been cherished by gamers worldwide, and the recent entries have been warmly embraced by the community. It's worth noting that the anniversary events are scheduled for March 15-23. This window presents a prime opportunity for Sony to announce a remaster of Kratos' epic Greek adventures, reigniting fans' passion for the series.
Adding fuel to the rumor fire, Tom Henderson previously reported that the next God of War installment might delve back into Greek mythology, focusing on Kratos' early years. If this holds true, it could set the stage for a prequel, which in turn might pave the way for these much-anticipated remasters.
Given that the Greek saga of God of War was initially released on older PlayStation consoles, including the PSP and PS Vita, and considering Sony's recent interest in reviving classic titles, these rumors seem plausible. Bringing these legendary games back could not only celebrate the franchise's rich history but also introduce Kratos' iconic journey to a new generation of gamers.
