The Water Festival is already making waves in Pokémon Go, but there's even more excitement ahead. Right before the event concludes, Gigantamax Lapras will star in a special Max Battle Day on July 19th. For three hours only, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time, you'll have a chance to encounter this icy powerhouse, and with some luck, maybe even its Shiny form.

Gigantamax Lapras brings both style and strength to your Pokémon Go battles. It arrives with significant advantages for trainers looking to power up their teams. For a limited period, the Remote Raid Pass limit increases to 20, and you can collect eight Max Particles from Power Spots.

Additionally, Power Spot refresh rates are boosted, and you'll earn 2x Max Particles simply by exploring. The daily Max Particle collection limit is also substantially increased. If you've already gathered all available Particles via the Nearby menu, your walking distance will contribute even more.
