Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Unveils New Legendary Creatures for Altar of Memories Multiplayer Mode

Netmarble has released a sneak peek showcasing several never-before-seen creatures in the upcoming Game of Thrones: Kingsroad update. These formidable beasts will be featured in the game's Altar of Memories multiplayer mode, challenging players to team up and conquer.

The preview highlights Drogon, appearing as a formidable Field Boss, alongside a host of powerful monsters inspired by George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Some of these creatures are entirely original to the game, making their debut in visually stunning fashion.

Among the terrifying adversaries players will face are:

  • Ice Spiders: Massive arachnids, rumored to be as large as hounds, known for their silent ceiling-crawling ambushes and venomous attacks. Legend speaks of their use by the White Walkers.

yt

  • Stormhorn Unicorns: A rare Skagos breed, these colossal unicorns wield their powerful horns with devastating effect. Their association with thunderstorms brings an electrifying element to combat.

  • Ironbeak Griffins: Once masters of the Westerlands valleys, these griffins nest in abandoned mines. Their sharp talons and keen eyesight make them formidable aerial attackers.

  • Red Cockatrice: A terrifying hybrid of dragon and rooster, boasting a razor-sharp beak and deadly claws, posing a significant threat to any who dare to cross its path.

In addition to battling these legendary creatures, players will embark on a new storyline, assuming the role of an heir to House Tyre, a minor noble house in the North. A comprehensive character creator allows for personalized character design, followed by class selection among Sellsword, Knight, or Assassin, each drawing inspiration from iconic Game of Thrones characters.
