Many games launch with optimization issues, later patched. *FragPunk*, however, has enjoyed smooth performance since release. While further frame rate improvements are always possible, here's a guide to optimal *FragPunk* settings and crosshair codes.

Recommended FragPunk Settings Overview

*FragPunk*'s settings are spread across five tabs. Beyond the Video tab, most settings are quality-of-life or accessibility options with minimal performance impact, though some enhance gameplay. We'll highlight those; others can remain at default or adjusted to your preference.

General Settings

The General tab offers mostly quality-of-life and personal preference adjustments. Experiment to find your ideal setup. These are recommended changes, but some personal preference remains:

Automatic Climbing – On
Automatic Sprint – On
Camera Shake During Sprint – Off
FOV Sprint Scaling – On
Flash Eye Guarding – On
Keep Player Centered – On
Minimap Orientation Rotate – On

Keyboard/Controller Settings

Customize your keybindings here. A worthwhile change is binding walk to Shift (freed by Automatic Sprint), mirroring common setups in *VALORANT* and *CS2*.

Sensitivity Settings

Purely personal preference. Experiment or use online calculators to convert settings from *VALORANT* or *CS2*.

Audio Settings

Adjust Sound Effects to your comfort level. Lower Music, Announcer, and Button Volume. Enable Character Voice Simplification to remove unnecessary dialogue.

Voice Chat settings are personal preference.

The Video tab is key for performance optimization. These settings prioritize performance over visual fidelity. *FragPunk*’s competitive nature makes high frame rates crucial. High-end PCs might tolerate some higher quality settings, but these are generally optimal for performance.
