Fantastic Four reunites in the upcoming Marvel Rivals update

The Fantastic Four are almost fully assembled in one of this winter's hottest games! Next Friday's major update to Marvel Rivals will introduce The Thing and Human Torch, completing the team.

A ranked checkpoint arrives in just 10 days, rewarding players who participated in ranked matches. Gold rank players and above will unlock exclusive skins, while Grandmasters and beyond will receive a prestigious Crest of Honor.

However, a partial rank reset is planned – a four-division demotion for all players. This decision has drawn criticism, as many players feel frustrated by losing progress mid-season. The grind of ranked mode can be off-putting, and this reset may discourage casual participation.

Developers have acknowledged the negative feedback and indicated a willingness to adapt. If the community response remains strongly negative, adjustments to the reset system are possible.
