Fantasian Neo Dimension: Unlocking the Tachyon Medal and NG+

Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world alongside Leo and his companions, facing Jas's devastating "Zero" plan. The game's captivating story and unique mechanics create a truly immersive experience. A crucial late-game item, the Tachyon Medal, is key to a challenging side quest and unlocking New Game Plus (NG+). This guide details its acquisition and use.

Locating the Tachyon Medal

The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it's the final item obtained before confronting the final boss. To acquire it, progress through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum within the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Inside the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. This boss frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, reducing your health by 90%. Therefore, ensure Kina is ready to heal, and equipping Petrification Null gear is highly recommended.

Leo's Fire Samidare +2 proves effective against summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl in your party, leveraging her high damage output with "Concentrate" and "Charge" activated.

After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. Amidst the rubble, locate a chest to the right; it contains the Tachyon Medal.

Utilizing the Tachyon Medal for NG+

Activating the Tachyon Medal's power requires two steps. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These elusive stars appear in eight locations:

  1. En New District
  2. Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
  3. Royal Capital - Main Street
  4. Frozen Tundra - Center
  5. Hidden Valley – Duet Path
  6. Ancient Hill – River
  7. Nameless Island – Depths
  8. Shangri-La – Fallen City

Defeat the bosses in this precise order. After the final encounter in Shangri-La, three chests will appear beneath the Altar. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.

Opening all three chests reveals a glowing door, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. With the Medal in your possession, you can initiate NG+. Your level, items, and equipment carry over. While enemies are significantly stronger in NG+, this shouldn't be a major concern, especially if all side quests were completed beforehand. Using the Tachyon Medal also unlocks the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement, allowing you to embark on a new adventure to save the Human Realm.
