Amazon Prime's Fallout live-action series is officially returning for a second season, with filming commencing in November, as confirmed by returning star Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson) in an interview with Screen Rant. This follows the show's successful premiere earlier this year.

Season 2 is expected to further explore the Vault-Tec narrative and resolve the Season 1 cliffhanger, according to Screen Rant. While the full returning cast remains unconfirmed, Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are presumed to reprise their roles. Uggams offered a tantalizing hint about her character's storyline: "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she said. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."

A tentative release date of sometime in 2026 has been suggested, accounting for filming and post-production. However, an official date is yet to be announced. For context, Fallout Season 1 filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.
