Dragon Quest X Mobile Launch Exclusive to Japan

Fans of the legendary Dragon Quest series have a special treat in store, albeit one that's currently exclusive to Japan. Dragon Quest X, an entry that might have flown under the radar for some due to its MMORPG-like elements, is set to launch its offline version on mobile devices. Starting tomorrow, Japanese enthusiasts can dive into Dragon Quest X Offline on both iOS and Android platforms, enjoying a single-player experience at a discounted price.

As reported by Gematsu, this offline version of Dragon Quest X, which originally hit the market in 2012, brings with it a host of features uncommon to the series, including real-time combat. After its initial console and PC release in 2022, the mobile version promises to be a nostalgic yet fresh experience for fans. Interestingly, Ubitu had plans to bring Dragon Quest X to mobile back in 2013, but those plans never materialized.

Dragon Quest X Offline Mobile Release

Unfortunately, international fans shouldn't get their hopes up just yet for a global release. While the original Dragon Quest X was Japan-exclusive, there's currently no news on whether the offline version will make its way to mobile devices worldwide. It's a disappointing development for Dragon Quest aficionados like myself, who have spent countless hours immersed in games like Sentinels of the Starry Sky and would relish the chance to explore this unique iteration on their mobile devices.
